1. Meet the angel and the devil!

Jaipur, Rajasthan

The city of forts, renowned for its rich heritage and vibrant culture. They say there’s something in the air of the Pink City that makes it effortlessly romantic. Amidst its ancient palaces and bustling streets, stories of love, passion, and destiny continue to unfold.

And today, in this city of beauty and longing, let me take you to a story-of two souls bound by fate, yet torn apart by circumstances.

Jaipur College – Garden.

The morning sun cast its golden glow over the lush greenery, its soft rays caressing the delicate features of a girl seated amidst the morning peace of the garden. Dressed in a traditional Jaipuri pink suit, she seemed almost ethereal, as though she belonged to the golden hues of dawn itself!

Her dark blue almond-shaped eyes shimmered with unspoken dreams, her rosy cheeks glowed under the sunlight, and her soft pink lips held a gentle smile—one that could melt even the coldest of hearts. Adorned with simple round earrings and a small crimson bindi on her forehead, she seen to be the embodiment of grace and purity.

This was Ragini Pratap Singh—a 22-year-old master's student in economics. A girl with a heart full of dreams, a mind brimming with aspirations, and a soul untouched by the harshness of the world.

To Ragini, life was simple. Peaceful. She believed in kindness, in goodness, in love that knew no bounds. To her, the idea of enmity, of hatred, of taking another’s life, was beyond comprehension.
How could someone hurt another? And above all, she believed in love,a love so pure, so consuming, that it could complete a person’s very existence.

She exhaled deeply, her fingers grazing the sacred locket resting against her collarbone—a small idol of Goddess Durga, the divine embodiment of purity, power, and protection.
Her parents had tied it around her neck the day she was born, believing it would always shield her from harm.

For Ragini, her Devi Maiya was her strength. She never made a decision, never faced a fear, without first whispering a prayer to the goddess. And today, as she sat lost in thought, she closed her eyes and softly murmured,

"हे देवी मईया कोई तो हमारे लिए भी बनाया होगा न, जो हमें वैसे चाहे,जैसे आपके महादेव ने आपको चाहा..वो जो हमें पूरा करे,जैसे अपने स्वयं शिव को किया.."
(You must have made someone for me too, right? Someone who will love me as purely as Mahadev loved you? Someone who will complete my soul the way you completed his?)

A soft breeze brushed against her face, as if in response. She smiled, her heart clinging to hope.

Yet, she knew.

Love like that…?

It belonged to another world. The world of gods, of eternal devotion. In this generation—where love was fleeting, selfish—could such a bond even exist?

The love of Shiv-Shakti,Radha Krishna, Siya Ram..was not something human could have..the purity, the devotion!!

She chuckled to herself at her own wishful thinking. Tilting her head to the sky, she whispered,

''मुमकिन कहां कि शिव-सती सा जोड़ा संसार में बन पाए...'
बस अपने भक्तों को ही मेरे आराध्य, इश्क सिखा जाए..."
(No mortal love can ever match the bond of Shiv and Sati…
Yet, may the divine at least teach us what true love is…)

With a wistful sigh, she checked the time on her wristwatch. It was almost 8 AM. The college was still quiet, only a few staff members present. Collecting her books, she stood up, smoothing the folds of her suit.

But just as she reached the college gate, her gaze flickered to her wrist—adorned with colorful bangles that jingled softly as she moved. And then, as if compelled by an unseen force, her eyes shifted to the road ahead.

As if she was waiting for something.
Or perhaps… someone.

Somewhere on the Roads of Jaipur...

A sleek black BMW sped through the city streets, its speedometer nearing 80 km/h. Inside, the atmosphere was thick with tension.

The driver, gripping the steering wheel tightly, was not afraid of the speed—he was afraid of the man sitting in the back seat.

Dressed in a sharp black three-piece suit, his broad chest exuded power, his fingers gripped his phone tightly, and his black leather shoes tapped rhythmically against the car’s floorboard—a silent warning of his growing impatience. His sculpted jawline was shadowed with a neatly trimmed beard, but it was his eyes—piercing, unreadable, cold—that can send shivers down a person’s spine.

Randheer Singh Thakur.

The name alone commanded both respect and fear. At 32, he was not only one of the most powerful business tycoons in the country, but also the undisputed Hukum sa of Rajasthan. His wealth was immense, but his reputation? Even greater.

And far more terrifying!

The air inside the car grew heavier as his foot-tapping suddenly stopped. The driver’s pulse quickened. Nervously, he stole a glance through the rearview mirror—only to find those black, unreadable eyes staring straight at him.

He swallowed hard and immediately looked away.

Randheer’s gaze remained fixed. His patience was razor-thin.

"I need to be there in five minutes." His deep voice sliced through the silence. "Drive faster."

"Y-Yes, sir!" The driver stammered, pushing the accelerator.

Randheer closed his eyes tightly, resting his head on the headrest of the car, breathing slowly, engrossing himself in his own darkness.

Untill raising fire flames clicked his memories. That one memory. It was not the flashback of any random thing  burning, it was his parents pyre.

And the young Randheer, barely 20. Just witnessed silently. No action, no expression, not even a tear. But the determination building stronger in his mind,
The one who took my parents from me, deserves the death too.. I'll do his Justice.

That one promise, 12 years ago. That one accident of his parents 12 years ago. Today shaped this man.
All the feeling this man had, burnt in the same fire as his parents.

The day he lost his parents, was the day he decided to be what he is today. Ruthless, Commanding and always the Ruler.

Titled as Hukum Sa of Rajasthan from the age of 25, he didn't serve justice. He was the justice. Who observed and punished.
He was the power in Rajasthan. The one feared yet worshipped like god.

But to be this, Only Randheer knows what price he had payed.
His youth. Burdened by responsibility.
His heart. Stone.
Peace in life. Long died.
And the only bestfriend he had.
Is now his biggest enemy....

Thinking of the life he had 20 years ago. He looked out of the car window. But from his window, the world only seemed dark. Void of colours.

Because the one to fill colours in his life, is yet to cross paths with him.

The exact moment, College Gate.

Ragini stood at the entrance, lost in thought, waiting for her driver, playing with his pink glass bangles, when something small and furry caught her eye.

A tiny puppy—white and brown, no more than a few months old—was playfully wandering in the middle of the road.

A warm smile spread across her face. She placed hand on her cheeks and muttered,
"Aww, How cute. I want to adopt him." She pouted, knowing her Bhaiya bhabhi will never allow her to adopt a pet.

Because everyone knows, Ragini is yet to be someone to raise herself alone. In every path of her life, she has only been dependent on others.
Since birth she was a princess.
Recieved love from family.
Attention from friends and teachers.
And got whatever she demanded.
She never heard the term Struggle. Everything was at her feets even before asking for it.
Her two brothers always made that sure.

For 22 whole years, whe was always treated as child, even her dream to do a buisness by herself was never heard. She was told. You don't need to stress yourself. Princess...

Always being heard, getting fulfilled all the demands, receiving love and attention at every phase of life, definitely made Ragini some who always needs what they want.

But even after being loved, not even once in life she turned rude. Instead she knows to give back the love she recieves.

Ragini is just like a plant. If loved, she gives all of herself, and can make someone's life beautiful that they ever imagined. But if hated, she may even forget how to live..She is way too fragile for the cruel world she is born in.
For her life is as simple as, and as beautiful as fictional books. Untill the truth. Untill the darkness himself appears.

Ragini was only admiring the puppy when suddenly, the next second, her heart dropped.

A car - black, fast, merciless...was rushing toward the little creature.

The BMW.
The same one that carried Randheer Singh Thakur.

Everything happened in an instant.

Ragini’s instincts took over. She threw her books to the ground and ran.

Not thinking.
Not hesitating.
Only knowing—she had to save him.

As she reached the puppy, she scooped it into her arms, shielding it against her chest. But the momentum… she wasn’t fast enough to stop herself.

The car was inches away from her.

She closed her eyes, bracing for the impact. Ready to get crashed by a merciless car.

When-
Screech!

Tires burned against the asphalt as the BMW suddenly came to a break—mere inches from where she stood.

For a moment, everything was silent. All Ragini heard was her own heart beating so loud as if threating to jump out of her ribs. Even the puppy closed his tiny eyes. Ready to be crushed with this girl who intented to save him.

The vehicles around the venue, all of them stopped. Because there was something about that car.

Randheer Singh Thakur.

His name was imprinted on it in bold white letters, over the black. The driver has barely managed the sudden break from such high speed. Even his heard was beating loud.

But Randheer, sitting on passanger seat, remained calm and composed. All he saw was a girl in pink standing facing her back to his car.

He understood the intensity of this moment, and decided to come out. Opening the door of car, he took out his one feet and then very smoothly came out wearing a black sunglasses on his eyes.

Tall. Imposing. Elegance personified. Fingers buttoning the coat of his three piece suit, more like a habit.
He glanced at the girl, and took slow, deliberate steps toward her.

Then, in a voice both deep and dangerously soft, he asked—

"Hey you girl! What's your name??"

And just like that, their story has began. Two people from families that holds deep past, years of rivalry and hatered just crossed path in a most common yet dangerously planned way.

Ragini.. ready to sacrifice herself just to saving the puppy, speaks volumes about how caring, how loving her nature is.
Meanwhile, Randheer car who just happened to hit the puppy, indicates the ruthless world he owns.

But today, as if gods themself sat to write their destiny. Cause once their paths are crossed, She officially enters his world of darkness and he will have to give this sunshine, her own very important space in his world, in his life.

But the question arises, will Ragini be able to light his world, or will lost her own way in his darkness.
Both didn't know but needed each other, to fill the empty space. But the deep rooted family rivalry will ever let these two souls destined for each other let meet..

Because their fates are planned.
And human don't have control over what is already written in their fate.
So no matter how hard, the world try to push them, the destiny will always cross their path, in a very predictable yet in beautiful way..

And no one. Not even the Sunshine Ragini. Not even the stormy Randheer..No one das resist this...
